Last week the children at Ryehills celebrated their favourite stories and characters on World Book Day. The children had the opportunity to dress up and bring in their favourite book from home to share with their friends. We looked at books, listened to stories and even created our own books and stories throughout the day. Celebrating World Book Day supports communication and language and literacy development with listening, speaking and reading skills as well as role-play and dressing up supporting children’s imaginative development.
Thanks to all those who took part in a fabulous day!
