As we enter the penultimate month of the calendar year here is just a taste of some of the exciting activities and events we have planned this November! Make sure to check back here later on for more information regarding our Christmas plans for 2018.
All Saints Day: (1st November)
In order to celebrate All Saints Day, a Christian Festival celebrated in honor of all Saints, we will be organising a number of Arts & Crafts activities. All the children within the Two's and Pre-School rooms will get the opportunity to make their own stained glass window designs and decorate pictures of angels.
National Traffic Directors Day: (2nd November)
A great opportunity to thank all those who work in Traffic Control, as well as, spreading awareness of crossing the road safely.
Bonfire Night: (5th November)
In preparation for Bonfire Night 2018 the Children will be creating Bonfire inspired pictures and paintings, as well as, making their own guy.
Diwali: (7th November)
To celebrate the Hindu 'Festival of Light' this year the Children will get the chance to learn about the origin and history of Diwali/ Throughout the day the Children will get the opportunity to make Burfi sweets, create traditional Rangoli patterns with crayons and water paints outside and take part in messy play with coloured rice.
National Vanilla Cupcake Day: (10th November)
Who doesn't love the opportunity to do some baking? On November the 10th the children will get the opportunity to make their own Vanilla Cupcakes.
Remembrance Day: (11th November)
In order to pay respect to those, past and present, who have served in the military the Children will be taking part in a number of activities, games and stories dedicated to our brave soldiers.
